If you already own ANSI/HI Pump Standards Version 2.0 CD ROM, then the Version 2.1 Upgrade will bring your set up-to-date. It costs only $100 to keep your ANSI/HI Pump Standards current and ensure that future releases can be added to your set. Each CD ROM has searchable PDF files; hypertext links from indexes to each Standard, each section and each page; and bookmarks, annotations and printing are all enabled.

 | Over time, TAPPI, the leading association for the worldwide pulp, paper, packaging, and converting industries, has developed a wide range of Industry Standards and Technical Information Papers (TIPs). For more information, please visit www.tappi.org and select Standards & TIPs. Since pulp and paper mills are pump intensive facilities, an average of 150 per pulp mill and 50 per paper, many of the Hydraulic Institute pump standards are useful supplements to the TAPPI library. | The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has published a new American National Standard for Rotodynamic (Vertical) Pumps for Nomenclature and Definitions (ANSI/HI 2.1-2.2-2008). This standard applies to vertically suspended pumps, including single casing (open pit intake) submersible pumps and discharge through column types (diffuser, volute, and axial flow). Also included are double casing (can or suction barrel intake – diffuser and volute), and in-line casing diffuser pumps. |
