This new and comprehensive CD ROM is comprised of 28 standards—FIVE that have been extensively updated since the release of Version 2.0 in 2005 and a sixth that is a FIRST EDITION of the Controlled-Volume Metering Pumps for Nomenclature, Definitions Application and Operation.

If you already own ANSI/HI Pump Standards Version 2.0 CD ROM, then the Version 2.1 Upgrade will bring your set up-to-date. It costs only $100 to keep your ANSI/HI Pump Standards current and ensure that future releases can be added to your set.

Each CD ROM has searchable PDF files; hypertext links from indexes to each Standard, each section and each page; and bookmarks, annotations and printing are all enabled.

HI Publications for TAPPI Members 

Over time, TAPPI, the leading association for the worldwide pulp, paper, packaging, and converting industries, has developed a wide range of Industry Standards and Technical Information Papers (TIPs).  For more information, please visit www.tappi.org and select Standards & TIPs.

Since pulp and paper mills are pump intensive facilities, an average of 150 per pulp mill and 50 per paper, many of the Hydraulic Institute pump standards are useful supplements to the TAPPI library. TAPPI and HI have made it simple for TAPPI members to determine which HI publications are important in the operation of pulp and paper mills. Take a look at the recommended list...

NEW! ANSI Standard for Rotodynamic (Vertical) Pumps for Nomenclature and Definitions 
The Hydraulic Institute (HI) has published a new American National Standard for Rotodynamic (Vertical) Pumps for Nomenclature and Definitions (ANSI/HI 2.1-2.2-2008). This standard applies to vertically suspended pumps, including single casing (open pit intake) submersible pumps and discharge through column types (diffuser, volute, and axial flow).  Also included are double casing (can or suction barrel intake – diffuser and volute), and in-line casing diffuser pumps.
NEW! ANSI Standard for Rotary Pumps for Nomenclature and Definitions 
The Hydraulic Institute’s comprehensive Rotary Pump Standard (ANSI/HI 3.1–3.5). Released in 2008 and substantially updated, this edition has twenty additional pages, 40% more content, and increased educational information. This standard applies to industrial rotary positive displacement pumps. It includes: types and nomenclature; definitions; design and application, operation and maintenance.
