The second in a four-part series, this recorded presentation, available for replay on-demand, covers appropriate applications for the use of variable speed drive technology. Installation considerations including the following are also covered:
Environment considerations such as: temperature, altitude, and space requirements
Electrical system considerations such as: harmonics, RFI, power quality, cable length, and equipment location
Application considerations such as load torque
The recording lasts approximately 1 hour, including Q&A. Audio broadcast will be via your computer speakers or by teleconference if you do not have speakers. Questions will be collected throughout the presentation via a chat window provided through WebEx and answered during the Q&A session. It is recommended that participants log in to the presentation 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start time to ensure that their computers are capable of connecting to the broadcast.
