Rotary Pump Standard Package (Secure PDF)

The Hydraulic Institute's comprehensive Rotary Pump Standards Bundle Package is available at a 25% discount through April 30th, 2011.  The bundle package includes three (3) Rotary Pump Standards.  The first standard, (ANSI/HI 3.1 – 3.5), was released in 2008 and substantially updated, this edition has twenty additional pages, 40% more content, and increased educational information. This standard applies to industrial rotary positive displacement pumps. It includes: types and nomenclature; definitions; design and application, operation and maintenance.

The package also includes Rotary Pump Tests Standard (ANSI/HI 3.6). This standard applies to industrial rotary positive displacement pumps. It includes detailed procedures on the setup and methods for conducting hydrostatic test and performance tests of such pumps. Its objective is to establish a uniform demonstration of a pump's ability to perform satisfactorily, both mechanically and hydraulically.

The third standard included in the bundle package is the Sealless, Magnetically Driven Rotary Pumps for Nomenclature, Definitions, Application, Operation, and Test (ANSI/HI 4.1-4.6) Standard. This standard covers the unique features of sealless, magnetically driven rotary pumps and includes sections on types and nomenclature; definitions; design and applications; installation, operation, and maintenance; and test. This standard does not apply to the flexible member/ peristaltic rotary pump type.
