This much anticipated standard has been completely rewritten and reformatted for easier use and is essential for anyone who wants to learn more about rotodynamic pump design. The standard has been positioned to cover the design and application of rotodynamic (centrifugal, mixed flow, and axial types) pumps, regenerative turbines, and Pitot tube pumps of all industrial/commercial types, except vertical single and multistage diffuser pump types. Information on pump classification, impeller types, casing configurations, and mechanical features are included. Additional information on performance, selection criteria, and noise levels is included as well.
