Description

Couplings are a critical component of virtually every pumping system, despite the type of pump that is used. This webinar was first broadcast as a Pump Knowledge Workshop at the 2020 HI Annual Conference.

Webinar discussion will center on elastomeric and metallic couplings, which are the most common styles of couplings for pumping applications. The session will cover both definitions and visualizations of signature failures for each type. Upon completion of this session, participants will be able to more effectively prevent and identify failure modes in order to achieve longer life and improved reliability in their pumping applications.

Key learning objectives to take away from this webinar series are

  • Definitions of Coupling Failure Modes in Elastomeric and Metallic Couplings
  • Visualization of Coupling Failure Modes in Elastomeric and Metallic Couplings

The material will be presented by industry experts Scott Levy, Engineering Manager, Regal Beloit America, Inc. and Patrick Standley, ABB OEM Business Development Manager, ABB Motors and Mechanical Inc.

The webinar will last approximately 45 minutes with 15 minutes allowed for Q&A with the instructor. Participants of the live session will earn one (1) PDH credit.

Please be advised that PDH credits are only available for registered participants of the live session, each individual registration counts as a seat is for 1 person and not intended to be viewed as a group. Group pricing rates are available.
