This webinar will be presented by subject matter expert Peter Gaydon, Director, Technical Affairs at Hydraulic Institute.

Key learning objectives to take away from this webinar are:

  • Calculate pump system power and energy consumption
  • Describe typical pumping systems
  • Explain pump and system curves
  • Explain how impeller diameter and speed of rotation impact pump performance
  • Identify the pump operating point in a system and basic control
  • Discuss options for pump system optimization


The webinar will last approximately 45 minutes with 15 minutes allowed for Q&A with the instructor. Participants of the live session will earn one (1) PDH credit.
