Description 

This webinar will provide an overview of the Pump Test Lab Approval Program (PTLAP), which is an accreditation program developed by the Hydraulic Institute. This program provides 3rd party verification that labs are capable of performing the pump efficiency test in accordance with the pump test standard, ANSI/HI 40.6, that lab personnel demonstrate competency with pump testing techniques, and that a quality management system is maintained. This provides regulatory agencies and power administrators who provide incentive rebates with a high level of confidence that pump performance reported by an approved test lab was acquired consistent with the pump test standard. It also offers a streamlined process for complying with the NRCan 3rd party verification requirement.
