Description

This course explains how to use the ANSI/HI 5.1-5.6 standard for sealless rotodynamic pumps. It explains the basic design and operation of sealless pumps, including benefits and limitations of their use. The attendee will also learn how to evaluate the application and process conditions to select the correct sealless pump. The design, components, and function of canned motor pumps and magnetic drive pumps are explained in detail.

Session 1: Introduction to sealless pump application and design

Date and Time: September 15  - 1:00-2:00pm ET

Instructor(s): James Dawley, Product Design Engineer, ITT Industrial Process and Camden DiMicco, Lead Aftermarket Design Engineer, Hayward Tyler, Inc.
