TOPIC: Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) are a common tool for improving process and quality control and for realizing energy savings in pumping systems. This updated webinar series provides an overview of basic VFD technology, how VFDs interact with their controls and the motor, describes multiple application considerations, contains multiple installation considerations, and identifies how to troubleshoot basic VFD issues. The attendee will be presented with application considerations that are typically outside the boundaries of the VFD (such as the environment and the electrical system), but that have a significant influence on its selection and operation. Also covered are installation practices and troubleshooting of variable frequency drives and their proper maintenance.

While this is being presented as a three-part series, each session was developed as a stand alone product. Consequently, there may be some duplicate information between the sessions. Purchasers who cannot attend all three sessions can receive a recording of the session they miss.
